Local Flavors in a Bag: CINCO DE MAYO

A meal kit for two featuring MO & IL farmers and St Louis chefs

Local Flavors in a Bag is a fundraising event hosted by the Green Tables Committee of the Les Dames d’Escoffier St. Louis Chapter. The event is designed to promote local Missouri and Illinois farmers by featuring seasonal ingredients in a gourmet meal kit for two. All proceeds go to support student scholarships and community outreach grants.

Each Local Flavors in a Bag contains all the ingredients needed to prepare an entire meal, spotlighting local and seasonal foods. The Bag is designed to feed two adults Cooking for more than two? Just reserve an additional bag per two dining companions.

Tucked into your Bag will be step-by-step instructions to prepare your meal, plus a link to a video tutorial with Dames demoing each course. We will also share the stories of the Missouri and Illinois farmers that made your dinner possible.

To accompany your meal, margaritas will be available for an additional fee.

For some added dinner entertainment, we’ll be raffling gifts from local St. Louis businesses. Raffle tickets are $5/ticket or $20/five tickets. Local Flavors in a Bag may be picked up (no fee) or delivered within the Metro St. Louis area (additional $10.00 fee). Bag(s) can be picked on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 up between 3 PM and 6 PM.

ORDERS MUST BE COMPLETED WITH PAYMENT BY WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28, 2021
